Bioinformatics pipelines developer Position at the Functional Genomics Group
The Functional Genomics (FG) research group at the CEXS-UPF is seeking a part-time bioinformatics analyst to develop pipelines for the analysis of human genetics data. Candidates are expected to have experience in developing bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of human genetics data from SNP and genome sequencing platforms.
Minimum requirements
- BSc degree in life sciences.
- Knowledge of human genetics.
- Programming in bash, python, R.
- Experience with linkage analysis software (Merlin, Mendel, etc.)
- Proven experience in developing bioinformatics pipelines.
Benefits of the opening:
Part time contract for 8 months, starting on February 1st 2018, Gross annual salary 9.500 Eur, plus Social Security costs.
